The Spicy Tuna Hand Roll Challenge

“Official Rules”

1. Challenger must sign a Waiver and Release form.

2. Challenger must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must sign on their behalf.

3. Challenger is NOT allowed to drink milk or dip their food in white sauce, nor is he allowed to eat anything that may help decrease the spice level of the challenge (i.e. no ice cream, no avocadoes, etc.) Don’t cheat dude! (or dudette)

4. Challenger may not substitute fish. It’s called the Spicy TUNA Challenge! Hello?

5. Don’t make yourself sick! If you go out to throw up or use the bathroom, the level where you are at will NOT be counted (i.e. if you throw up after level 7 then you will have to repeat that level). If, however, you do get sick, please use our bathroom and try to clean up after yourself. Throwing up outside or not cleaning up after yourself will make others sick. Please be considerate and make sure to use the bathroom BEFORE you start the challenge.

6. Challenger must eat rolls in order from 1-10 and not backwards. You may sample any level but it will not count towards your progress.

7. Deadline to start the challenger is at 9:15 pm (Monday-Saturday) and 8:15 pm on Sundays. This is because most challengers take so long to finish!

“The Reward”

Each challenger who finishes, gets his/her picture taken and placed on the “Hall Of Fame”, a $25 gift certificate, and a Bushido Headband that entitles the bearer a free appetizer or a free small sake each time he/she comes into the restaurant WEARING it. Note…the headband MUST be worn inside the restaurant to avail of these free stuff!

“The Cost”

Total cost of doing the challenge is $45 plus tax to complete all 10 levels. Each roll or level is $4.50.
